Senators skeptical of helping ailing auto industry
Detroit's Big Three CEOs and the president of the United Auto Workers drew a skeptical reaction from senators this afternoon as they urged quick passage of $25 billion in emergency government-loans. Sen. Chris Dodd, chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, supports passage of the funds from the $700 billion Wall Street bailout fund but delivered a tongue-lashing to automakers.

Chrysler CEO says company has $6.1 billion in the bank
